Examination Invigilators
We want to add to our team of Examination Invigilators who will be employed on an as-required basis to assist the Examinations Manager.
- Do you enjoy working as part of a team and have a good awareness of and ability to exercise confidentiality when necessary?
- Are you available for work during school examination periods throughout the year?
The main summer public examination season runs from May to the end of June, with some practical examinations during March and April. We also run mock examinations for our Y11 pupils during October/November and February/March and end-of-year assessments for our other Year groups during May, June and July.
Exams are the most important and stressful events in a learner's life. That’s why it is so important they are managed correctly. Invigilators are crucial to this process, ensuring exams are conducted following Examination Boards and School Regulations. In a team, invigilators provide a calm environment for exams, giving candidates confidence in the process. The role includes distributing and collecting exam papers and monitoring the exam room to ensure that no unfair means are used by any student concerning the examination and other examination-related duties.
Previous experience is unnecessary as training will be provided, and you will become part of a friendly and supportive team.

Salary: Hourly rate G3, Point 3 £9.75 per hour (Subject to Annual Pay Award)
