Teaching Assistant Level 2

Hours: 22h 20mins per week

 

We are seeking a talented, energetic and passionate person to join our forward-looking and highly successful SEND Department.  The successful candidate will be a highly effective team player, an excellent communicator who is committed to raising the aspirations and achievement of all students. Although a caring disposition is essential, we are looking for candidates who have the ability to stretch our students academically and work with teaching staff to provide the best possible education for our learners. Previous post holders have been graduates who have gone on to successfully complete post graduate teacher training courses and we are happy to support candidates who wish to do this. The working pattern will be based over 4 days per week (Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays), term time only plus 1 week to attend meetings and some INSET days.

 

The contract will be temporary until June 2019, subject to SEN review thereafter.
