Dear all,

Thank you for the questions you sent in. We have done our best to answer each of them in the attached FAQs and Updates document. Please take time to read it. I have also attached my letter from July about re-opening arrangments. The most important change to this is the advice on face coverings. The details are in the FAQs but basically we are asking all pupils (except those that would be exempt in for example a shop) to bring a face covering and to wear them whilst changing over from one lesson to another inside on the corridors. At other times - in lessons or when social distancing can be observed they should not need to use one. I will go through all the arrangements with pupils on their first day.

I hope we have answered all the questions you may have and I am very much looking forward to welcoming your children back to school next week. Just a reminder that it is the normal start time for school - 8.50am for 9.00am registration and that we are opening on a staggered basis:

Wed 2nd     Y7&11
Thu 3rd       Y7, 9 &11
Fri 4th         Y7, 8 &10
Mon 7th     All Year Groups

We have an INSET day on Tuesday 1st September so if you need to contact me please do so on Tuesday and I will try to get back to you.

I hope you have a great bank holiday weekend and look forward to getting our new school year started.
Very best wishes
A. McGlown
