On this page, you will find several documents to help you apply for a place at St Peter's.

Parents can apply for any school in any local authority, but they must apply via their home local authority (via their online portal). When applying for a place in a school that is not in your home local authority, parents should check whether there are any additional supplementary forms to be completed, which are only available from the school or local authority in which the school is located.

St Peter's is a faith School, so it is crucial that, when parents are applying for a place at the school, they MUST complete a Supplementary Information Form, provide evidence of their child's Baptism, and return it in person to the school. For admissions in September 2027, the deadline is 31st October 2026. The school will be closed for half term from Monday 26th October to Friday 30th October and will open again on Monday 2nd November. Parents are advised to obtain a receipt from the school when handing in their supplementary evidence in person. The final day to hand in a Supplementary Information Form (and evidence) and obtain a receipt from the school will be Friday, 23rd October 2026. Failure to complete a Supplementary Faith Form (including Baptism evidence) and return it to the school before the deadline will result in applications being assessed against lower criteria, as the Governing Body will have no information to assess them.

Appeals:

Appeals for the typical year of entry (Year 7) are arranged each year generally according to the following timetable. The dates may vary depending on whether the offer date falls on a weekend and may also differ slightly from those given by each of the Local Authorities:

  • Secondary offer date: 1 March
  • Appeals to be lodged by 30 March
  • Appeals to be heard: 18 June or soon after

Appeals will be heard as soon as reasonably practicable following the appeal deadline. Appeals resulting from in-year admission applications will be heard on a date to be arranged within 30 school days of the appeal form being received by the Education Department at the Archdiocese or as soon as possible after that.
